Scales have been known to be used in the market as a trading medium. CV. Dwi Logam Jaya sells various types of weighing scales used for various applications. Scales that are often used in traditional markets are M3-type scales, generally made of cast iron. The accuracy of the scales is the main differentiator of various classes of scales. For example, a 20kg scale with M3 class according to the OIML standard can have ± 10,000mg deviation while a higher grade scales such as F1 class with the same size have ± 100mg deviation.
The higher the class of the scales, the better the material used. For example for classes M3 to M1 made of cast iron, but the higher the class of scales such as starting from M1 using a better material that is stainless steel because the material for making scales will have an influence on the resistance of the scales and also the degree of magnetization.
